About Us Hi everyone. My name is Peter Bombar and I have been riding BMW motorcycles for a few decades now. I have serviced, repaired and restored every bike I have owned. And I have owned a few!! So, there I was in Northern Pennsylvania and some folks called me complaining they couldn't find anyone to service the BMW motorcycles they were riding. So I started my humble BMW motorcycle repair shop. It grew!! And then I moved to North Carolina in 2005. I have reopened and offer full service BMW tech services for BMW Motorcycles. I enjoy all BMW motorcycles. I primarily work on these models: R Series 1960 - 1995 - The Classic Airheads /2, /5, /6, /7, R, RS, RT, S R Series 1994 - 2007 - The Powerful Oilheads R1100/1150/1200 K Series K75, K 100 , K1100 and some K1200 F Series 2001 - 2007 F650GS/Dakar/CS Service intervals and annual Service performed on all models Computer Diagnostics for your BMW. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. From 5pm - 9pm Monday - Saturday. | Some Useful Information Service is based on BMW recommendations and from my own experience. Older bikes that have been sitting for a long time will most likely require an extensive service regadless of mileage. Be ready to leave your bike with me. I will always give you an estimate of time needed for the service. Transmission and final drive repair requires extensive time, but is worth the wait! I stock most parts for routine service on R, K, F and G series including oil, filters, some cables, and bulbs. I work on a "Time and Materials" basis. I cannot predict what it will cost for non-standard work but will give an estimate and I will keep you up to date on how the work is proceeding which will require your approval before moving forward. This is particularly true with transmissions requiring rebuilds!!! I do initial inspections for $60. I will inspect and ride your bike and evaluate what if any service I think it will need. I will work within your budget as long as it is reasonably realistic. I will not work on dirty machines. Have your bike cleaned or I will clean it prior to any service. I need focused time to complete the work agreed upon. I will not be rushed for all the right reasons. Our insurance does not allow customers in our work area, so please leave the bike with me unless a prior arrangement has been made. I can order parts for you and the price will be BMW retail only. Parts, if in stock from my supplier, take 48 hours minimum and you will be required to pay for the shipping as well. Bring your bike with as little gasoline in the tank as possible. And most importantly - I take great pride in the work I do. So do not rush the process, pay me promptly and all will be well. Thanks Peter ...another great GS picture fromADVRider.Com Proud member of these two fine clubs | Customer Testimonials Wow - I thought my bike ran well when I came to you but now it pulls in 5th like never before. The upgraded electronic ignition system and tune up has made me rediscover how 5th gear really should work!! Randy - 1976 R90/6 What an excellent job on the PD!! The rebuild was well worth it and it runs very strong. John - 1993 R100GSPD I bought a R60/6 which was leaking gas, running rough, braking badly, steering was loose...in other words not too great. Peter got the bike running incredibly. After the service I took it on an 800 mile tour without any problems - Great Work!!
